Power of prayer

My friend Tanya had to take her baby to a different state this week to have a very painful and difficult surgery done on his tongue.  Because of the surgery he would have to be force fed in a way that seemed as if the baby were choking or constantly gagging.  They expected the process to be excruciating and they prepared for the worst.  She bore testimony to me today that she believed that it was because of their diligence in prayer and because of so many other people praying for them that the process went extremely well and they were able to go through the ordeal without the trauma that they anticipated.  Even the hospital staff commented on how calm they were and how remarkable the baby did. Tanya said it felt as if they were led by the hand and given the comfort they needed to proceed with the painful steps with the assurance that all would go well.  I felt the spirit as she told her story and I learned more about the power of prayer.
