I had such a wonderful weekend. On Friday night I got to go to a
watercolor class downtown at the Christopher David boutique with my
lovely friend Pamela Rust. It was a fancy crowd of Portlandia artists
types. They served tea and crackers and cheese. It was very hipster. I
got some cool supplies, learned some new skills and tried things I had
never tried. I never expected to like watercolor that much but it is fun
because the materials are so forgiving and easy to use. I could really
get into it. I really went to learn more about brush strokes and
calligraphy and have fun with Pamela. We talked after about maybe
someday hosting our own workshops. It was empowering and I felt like a
real person. Thanks to Paul for letting this happen tonight!
